Rules and Regulations

 

-  Each team should consist of a minimum 6 to a maximum of 8 members, of which one has to be a technician assisting in the light and sound cues.
-  Each drama is to be of 30 minutes in length – not a minute more. Lengthy dramas will be penalized with deduction of points
-  Scripts will be vetted by the vetting committee a week before the auditions.    Scripts with sexual innuendos, vulgarities, slander against any race, religion or country or any other sensitive remark will be asked to be changed. Censorship is according to the discretion of the vetting committee.
-  Usage of naked flames or any prop that is bigger than 2m x 2m in dimension have to be indicated in the application form. Each team will be provided with 4 class- chairs and 4 class-tables upon request (to be indicated in the application form). Teams may choose to utilise them as their props.
-  Usage of any audio/music CDs in the play should be submitted to the organisers during the technical runs.
-  The participants will be judged based on: Originality of Script, Creativity in Plot, Acting Capability: Expression, Voice Projection, Stage Presence, and Overall Team Presentation
-   Judges’ decision is final.
