Synopsis of Pandavas – the Voices within

Mahabharata is the longest epic in the world, the greatest story ever told. Recorded in scriptures and transcended lineages orally. The heroes of the epic, the Pandavas are embodiments of virtues and nobility. Guided by Lord Krishna and with the support of their wife, Draupadi, the Pandavas accumulated accolades and victories. They overcame the Kauravas in the Kurukshetra to establish the triumph of justice over injustice. The Pandavas are the victorious five.

These warriors are put through a test that they never anticipated. It was not their courage, strength or skill that was scrutinized. It was not their enemies who challenged them.

What was the test?
Who put them through the test?
Why were they tested?
Did the Pandavas emerge victorious?

The answers will take stage as ‘Pandavas – the Voices within’ on March 28th (8pm), March 29th (3pm and 8pm) at Drama Centre Black Box, NLB. With a stellar cast including Vasantham MediacorpTV12 artistes that includes J.Soundrarajan, Selvaganthan, Karthigeyan, Ganesh, Vishnu, Arivazhagan and Annapoorani, the play is scripted and directed by Elavazhagan Murugan. and artistic direction by Mr.G.Selavananthan
